Dr. Ijaz Ahmad’s life story is one of resilience, passion, and unwavering commitment to the field of medicine. From his early days in Pakistan to his current role as a podiatrist in Maryland, Dr. Ahmad’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable.
Born and raised in Pakistan, Dr. Ahmad completed his MD (MBBS) degree from Quaid-i-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur in 2001. He started working in Mayo Hospital Lahore affiliated with most prestigious institution, King Edward Medical University. His formative years were marked by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to make a difference. After serving at May Hospital Lahore, he embarked on a new chapter by joining his family in the United States in 2010.
Dr. Ahmad’s pursuit of excellence led him to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he engaged in groundbreaking research. It was during this time that his interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery blossomed. Recognizing the importance of specialized care, he decided to focus his career on podiatry.
In 2021, Dr. Ahmad graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Armed with knowledge and fueled by a passion for evidence-based practice, he set out to make a difference in the lives of patients. His dedication didn’t stop there—Dr. Ahmad completed a rigorous three-year residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. The experience honed his skills, deepened his understanding, and solidified his commitment to healing.
Now settled in Maryland, Dr. Ahmad has joined the experienced team at “We Treatfeet.” His enthusiasm for community service drives him to provide compassionate care to those in need. Whether it’s diagnosing foot ailments, performing surgeries, or educating patients, Dr. Ahmad approaches each day with unwavering dedication.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Ahmad cherishes moments spent with his family. Their support and love fuel his passion for healing. As he continues to make strides in podiatry, Dr. Ijaz Ahmad remains a beacon of hope—a testament to the transformative power of medicine and the human spirit.
