Onychomycosis (Fungal Nail)
Onychomycosis is the medical term for fungal nail infection — chronic, contagious, and treatable.
Onychomycosis is a fungal infection of the toenail caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, or non-dermatophyte molds. It causes nail thickening, discoloration, crumbling, and separation from the nail bed. Up to 10% of adults are affected, with prevalence rising sharply with age.
Effective treatment requires both eliminating the fungus and restoring nail health. We may combine prescription oral antifungals, topical solutions, debridement, and KeryFlex cosmetic restoration to give you back healthy-looking nails.
